Terms of Service

1. The service

Ruzz provides (a) shot-plan scripts for short-form video and (b) editing of video footage you upload, delivered as vertical video files, through ruzz.app. By creating an account or purchasing, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You must be 18 or older and use accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login private. One account represents one business; team access may be added later.

3. Plans, billing and auto-renewal

• Monthly editing is billed monthly in US dollars through Lemon Squeezy and renews automatically until cancelled.
• First edit, Plan & produce and extra videos are one-time purchases. What each includes is described on the Pricing page. A one-time edit you have not used yet stays usable for 12 months from purchase.
• First edit credit. If you subscribe to Monthly editing within 7 days of approving your first edit, the First edit price is credited against your first month through a single-use code we email you. It applies once, to the first payment only, and expires at the end of those 7 days.
• Cancelling and refunds. You can cancel Monthly editing at any time. Choose one:
  • Cancel with a refund. Ask from My page › Billing help. We refund the unused part of your current billing period and your plan ends that day. The used part is whichever is larger: the days that have passed (the day you cancel counts), or the plan videos we have delivered in that period (not separately paid extra videos), each counting as 1/4 of a month — so with all 4 delivered, nothing is left to refund.
  • Cancel at renewal. Cancel from the customer portal link in any receipt email. Nothing is refunded and your plan stays active to the end of the period you paid for.
• Full refund window. Any purchase — Monthly editing, First edit, an extra video or Plan & produce — is refunded in full if you cancel within 7 days of paying and before we have delivered a finished video (a first cut or later) or script for it. Once a finished video or script has been delivered, a one-time purchase is not refundable, because the work is done and yours to keep.
• Refunds go back to the original payment method through Lemon Squeezy, usually within 5–10 business days, and nothing here limits a refund the law requires.
• Monthly video allowances reset each billing period and do not roll over. Every video includes one revision round; further rounds are quoted before any work starts.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email; changes apply from your next renewal.

4. Your content and your responsibilities

• You keep ownership of everything you upload and of the finished videos.
• You give Ruzz a limited license to store, process, edit and deliver your content solely to provide the service. We do not use it to train models or for our own marketing without your written permission.
• You confirm you own or are licensed to use the footage, including any people, logos, locations, artwork and music in it, and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of claims in your video (pricing, results, health, legal or financial statements) and for complying with each platform’s rules when you post.
• Uploads are limited to 1 GB per file and to formats we list. We may refuse or remove content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, sexually explicit, or unsafe.

5. Scope, revisions and turnaround

• An order covers one finished video at the length you select, edited to the brief you saved.
• One revision round is one consolidated set of notes on the same cut within the saved brief. New footage, a new concept or a different length is a new order.
• Orders are processed in the order received. Turnaround estimates are estimates, not guarantees; complex or out-of-scope requests may be quoted separately before work starts.
• Music is added in the mood you choose, or you can send the track you want. How and where you publish the finished video is your decision.

6. Storage and deletion

Raw footage, review proxies and unused music are deleted 7 days after you approve the final cut. Finished videos remain available for download for 10 days after approval and are then deleted. It is your responsibility to download files within that window; we will remind you by email before deletion.

7. No guarantee of results

Ruzz improves the structure, pacing and presentation of your videos. Ruzz does not guarantee views, followers, engagement, sales or any platform outcome, and makes no representation that any video will “go viral”. Platform distribution is controlled by the platforms.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ruzz disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Ruzz in the 3 months before the claim arose.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practical. Sections 4, 7, 8 and 10 survive termination.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [to be confirmed by counsel], USA. [Dispute-resolution clause — arbitration and class-action waiver, if adopted — to be inserted after legal review.]

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.
